Care in Action South Carolina, the only advocacy organization in the Palmetto State focused entirely on mobilizing and elevating women of color in the 2022 election, announced today that it has endorsed Rosemounda “Peggy” Butler for Secretary of State, as well as South Carolina House of Representatives candidates Chandra Dillard (HD23), Adriene Atkinson (HD25), Annie E. McDaniel (HD41), Patricia Moore “Pat” Henegan (HD54), Wendy C. Brawley (HD70), and Michelle Brandt (HD114).

Nannies, House Cleaners, Home Care Workers Endorse North Carolina Candidates

Care in Action, which advocates on behalf of nearly 62,000 domestic workers across the Tar Heel State – including home care workers, nannies, and house cleaners – announced their endorsement today of nearly two dozen candidates running for office this year. The endorsed candidates join Cheri Beasley, who earned Care in Action’s endorsement in February in her bid for U.S. Senate.

Care in Action announced today that they have endorsed U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead for election in 2022.The endorsements announced today were made after extensive discussions among domestic workers in Nevada and a meeting of Care in Action Nevada’s Workers Committee, which voted unanimously to endorse the two candidates.
