Care in Action's roots are in Georgia—the birth place of the modern domestic worker movement led by civil rights champion Dorothy Lee Bolden. In 2018, Care in Action endorsed its very first candidate, Stacey Abrams for Governor of Georgia. She may not have won that race, but we’ve been in Georgia fighting for voting rights and care policies for all our families ever since.
