RECESS RECAP: Care in Action, Workers and Families Organized Across the Country to Demand Members of Congress Stop Medicaid Cuts
WASHINGTON, D.C. – This recess, Care in Action and our members made sure lawmakers heard how we feel about cutting Medicaid to fund billionaires’ tax breaks: cuts to Medicaid are not an option.
Care in Action organized town halls, office drop-ins, and rallies across Arizona, California, Georgia, Virginia, and New Jersey where constituents spoke up about how Medicaid cuts would threaten their lives and livelihoods:
